This post called, ‘Could Obama Be the Bridge for Black and Asian Relations?’ makes very interesting reading. I had never considered the Asian aspects of Barrack Obama but this has got me thinking. After all, his middle name is Hussein and he made a very public point of it being used during his inauguration.
I really do hope that he will be a key factor in black and Asian interaction. Racism has gone on, in various forms, for far too long. What the hell does it matter if someone’s skin is a different colour to our own?
Let’s hope that he manages to make history not only by being the first black President but also by bringing about some serious change in the hearts of bigots.
