'saaarf landan' is much better than the norf. You can't beat living here. My stomping ground is round Blackheath and Greenwich and I love it. There's heaps of local bars, restaurants and best of all we have Blackheath where the best London fireworks display takes place.That's happening soon! It's always a fun filled evening, wandering over to the heath early before the fireworks kick off, enjoying fish and chips with my mates as we wander around with glowsticks glowing and music blaring out of the sound machines. Its a loud night for sure 'cos once the fireworks start you can't hear yourself speak, twenty five to thirty minutes of non stop fireworks, and they are huge too! Lots of colour, bangs, flashes, oooo's and arrrghs!!! Seeing the kids faces too is amazing, they think the whole display is just magical, and of course a wonderful reason for them to stay up beyond their bed time. Now, the action doesn't stop when the fireworks do. We also have the circus on the heath which is always a good laugh, don't forget the fairs that come visiting too. When you're tired or cold from wandering round the stalls, there are heaps of bars and places to eat just a short walk away either in Blackheath or Greenwich. In Greenwich you'll find the Maritime Museum, the Royal Observatory and other stuff to do in the park. I love seeing the squirrels forraging for nuts, burying them and getting fatter ready for winter. It is truly an awesome place to live.
